Mama June’s Diet To Go From 460 Pounds To Size 4!

June Shannon, also known as Mama June, has lost hundreds of pounds after her show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. She has been famous for raising pageant princess Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and dishing out plates of “sketti” (also known as spaghetti noodles topped with heaps of butter and liberal squirts of ketchup.)

She has decided to be cautious of her health along with proper exercise and diet. Now she shares her successful weight-loss journey from being 460 pounds to size 4 in her new WEtv series, Mama June: From Not to Hot.

The first few episodes of the show, it was shown that she was being wheeled into surgery. “I’m going to look completely different,” she promised. “But I’m scared, too.” “This surgery is the scariest thing I’ve ever done, but I mean, there is a skinnier person inside of me.”

Nobody sad it would be easy to lose weight, but for Mama June, with the right eating pattern and discipline, she’s done it!

Kenya Crooks, Mama June’s Trainer, shared in an interview a few healthy eating strategies.

Mama June had already cut out her soda intake during her weight-loss journey. She says she went “cold turkey” giving up her usual three to four Mountain Dew Code Reds a day after she was in car accident and was told by a neurologist that she needed to stop drinking cola.

“For people who don’t like to drink water by itself, what we’ve done is we’ve thrown some strawberries and kiwi in there,” Kenya says. “It’s really good, and it helps you get it down a whole lot faster.”

Mama June drinks Propel flavored waters whenever she’s running a busy day because fruit-infused water takes a lot of time to make. “Propel has great flavors like Grape and Wild Cherry and Kiwi Strawberry,” she says “Honestly, to me, they taste like soda. If I drink soda right now, it would taste like crap.”

For those who like sweets, to satisfy your cravings, Kenya said that it is also a good idea to swap watermelon for less healthy treats.“The cool thing about watermelon is that it’s basically 92 percent liquid,” he says. “It satisfies your sweet tooth, but you can also pee-pee that thing right out!”

Chips are also not recommended. How about instead of opening a bag of junk foods, dig in a bundle of juicy grapes! Mama June surely loves grapes. “Grapes are probably my favorite thing,” she says.

“I’ve never felt this good before,”Mama June admitted on a recent episode of From Not to Hot. “Eating healthy gives me a lot more energy, which makes me work out harder and makes me lose the weight faster.”

“When I tell you this is the greatest transformation of all time, get ready,” trainer Crooks said. WEtv is calling it “the most shocking transformation in reality TV history.”
