It’s lucky when we can have a single cup of coffee plus at least a piece of toasted bread or anything besides caffeine at all, let alone having a stack of pancake, a cup of yogurt and some strips of bacon.

Apparently, these citrus foods can irritate the lower esophagus especially when you eat them on an empty stomach.

There’s basically nothing bad with eating banana so this might come as a surprise for a lot of people. However, eating bananas early on the day and especially when you haven’t eaten anything else beforehand isn’t actually the best thing.

Eating bananas could cause a sharp increase the levels of magnesium in your bloodstream which could potentially be harmful to your heart.

Yogurt had always been a part of breakfast, but eating it all alone is surprisingly not a good idea so the next time you just grab a yogurt, think twice.

It’s not really a bad thing actually, nothing that would do you harm. However, it doesn’t deliver any benefits to your body unlike when you consume it when you have eaten something beforehand.

Here’s why: the good bacteria or the lactic acid bacteria found in yogurt gets killed by the hydrochloric acid your stomach produces when you haven’t eaten anything else.

Pastries like danishes and croissants are without a doubt, delicious but these can cause problems with our body when you eat them when your stomach is empty.

These types of foods like puff pastries and shortcrust have a certain type of yeast that actually irritates the lining of stomach which causes flatulence.

Eating these could also overload the liver as these have processed sugar.

Pears – Bad

Pears seem like a healthy choice and a good thing to eat for breakfast when you’re already hungry. However Tamara Melton, a nutritionist, says that a single fruit won’t be able to fill you up.

Eating it on an empty stomach is also bad as it has crude fiber that can injure the mucous membranes of an empty stomach.

Tomatoes have high levels of tannic acid. This can increase the acid level in your stomach and would make your situation worse causing more pain and more discomfort.
