The Christian denomination of Jehovah’s Witnesses is known for their controversial beliefs. They are based on their own translation of the Bible, called The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. They reject the celebration of birthdays or holidays, refuse blood transfusions and do not serve in the military. Many famous people are Jehovah’s Witnesses.
