Amsterdam-Based Scientists Eliminate Breast Cancer In 11 Days Without Chemo

Breast Cancer is one of the world’s most aggressive cancers and third on the list of death causes, killing approximately 40,000 women in the United States alone each year. The World Health Organization estimates more than half a million deaths worldwide. What’s alarming is that a quarter of a million or 240,000 more cases of breast cancer are adding to the tally each year. Despite being recognized as a disease of the developed countries, 58% of breast cancer deaths are actually recorded from less developed countries. Furthermore, a study from the journal Clinical Cancer Research states that since this type of cancer mostly affects young and/or African American women.

The most popular method to go against cancer is chemotherapy. If the radiation therapy focuses on one area to damage or remove cancer cells, chemo works similarly, but throughout the whole body instead. Cancer cells are highly notorious and can grow and multiply rapidly. The chemotherapy treatment has long been thought to be the most effective since it slows down the speed in which the cancer grows. However, it radiates all the cells of the body including the good cells that help our body to stabilize. Therefore, it doesn’t have the capability to identify cancerous cells.

Perhaps the most upsetting fact about cancer is that the most susceptible people of this are those with a family history of the same type of cancer. Some people have inherited gene faults which can increase their risk of developing a cancer type. When an incredibly surprising clinical study in Amsterdam came forth, it gave the breast cancer victims a gleam of hope to becoming cancer-free. The newly discovered cure was tested on a cancer patient, and it presented unbelievable results in as little as 11 days without the use of chemotherapy!

The truth is, chemotherapy can result in some negative side effects. One of its downsides is, again, the fact that it also radiates the good cells of the body. That includes cells for hair growth, and cells for the function of our intestines. During the European Breast Cancer Conference in Amsterdam, professor Nigel Bundred unveiled the analysis illustrating a game-changing success in targeting cancer cells.

During the European Breast Cancer Conference in Amsterdam, professor Nigel Bundred unveiled the analysis demonstrating a game-changing success in targeting cancer cells. Professor Bundred explains that they used two types of drugs concurrently before the chemotherapy. These drugs are both used in cancer treatments, but only one or the other. By combining the two drugs, the Herceptin aka Trastuzumab and the Lapatinib, they succeeded in dramatically decreasing breast cancer cells within a very short period of 11 days time.

What do this two drugs Herceptin and Lapatinib do? The combination of the two targets a protein known as HER2 or the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2. This malevolent protein acts as a receptor that dictates the growth of cancer cells and its expansion to the other parts of the body.

The test went by dividing the 257 cancer patients with HER2-positive breast cancers into two groups. The first group was given the combined drugs while the other half continued with their individually applied drugs. Just 11 days later, when the two groups were tested, the group that used the combination had greater improvement than those who didn’t. 11% had shown cancer-free results while 17% stated that their tumors reduced in size. In the second group, however, the test results revealed that only 3% had a reduction in tumor size.

Cancer in any form is a can strike at any time. Even the healthiest person can acquire this malign disease. It’s very important that we take caution and not disregard any possibility. Please share this post with your friends on Facebook!
